Uh, episode zero? How does that work? Here’s how:
Before PMT Jazzattack! came into being in its current form, we were working on a dumb film thing called “A Hat Made of Mexico”. Myself and Murray conceived of a really awful free Jazz Trio, and thus PMT was born, although it wasn’t PMT at the time, it was simply Jazz Trio. This was in early 2006, before moving to the current house as seen in every other episode of PMT.
So anyway, we performed a half-hour set of covers for the film, but the film itself (as with many of my grand ideas) was subsequently abandoned. Having enjoyed making the music, we decided to make it a more regular thing, and hence this show was born.
So, we have decided to show all three of our fans the second ever filmed performance (the first was a dress rehearsal of sorts) of PMT. Note our lack of equipment. Tom is playing guitar through computer speakers. Boy we were lo-fi in those days.
I really think it was a great show this one and I can’t believe this was when you lived in your old house. It looks a bit weird I guess am just use to the old house. Keep up the good work. Still love the Man/woman espoide the best though, Pixie x
